Philips 22PFL4505D/F7 22-Inch 720p LED LCD HDTV, Black

I tried going to a narrower than all said that I "should" and I'm happy! I suspect that since this is my first widescreen, and since I have been to get on a 13-inch square next to my 20-inch square TV went kaput, a 22-inch Philips will feel like a big step up. And does it ever. The picture is so sharp that I do not need a bigger screen in my small house - at least not until my top 13-inch gasping its last. I can read newscrawlers, subtitles and sports scores. The color is beautiful, and I have not even taken time to super fine tune it. TV arrived days early from amazon.com yesterday afternoon, super-cheap shipping, and I started to put it up in the morning. Just then, "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" was on Turner Classic Movies, and I had not seen it before and would, but I threw forward look while I looked at the Quick Launch. I unplugged the old one and was back to see the movie again before the break. This HDTV has all hoolymajiggits to connect your computer, camcorder, computer, and I do not know what all, but being a film fan, is all that I have a Magnavox DVD-VHS player and hooks up fine. The remote control works intuitively, and I can move through the menu even without reading the manual. I could not be happier, especially since I have long depended on the quality of the Philips and Magnavox. Just after Christmas we had 22 of these sets, and they sold out before I could make a move. I let amazon.com know I was sold on the set, but could not buy in time. I was so sold that I am thinking of buying the same TV in 32-inch, if I could not get the 22nd, but true to form came through amazon.com with more 22-inch Philips 720p LED LCD HDTV, Black. I bought one, it's here and it's running, just as, after weeks to check availability. I actually think that 32 inches might be too big for my shack as it is for my budget right now. My TV is on top of entertainment tower, for one, stereo (remember those?) And it can face up to the room, or turn against the adjacent bedroom (fisherman architecture). It is a very big image in both directions. What I like about surround sound is that a small amount, because not everything comes from a rear speaker. No more blaring, making my Chinese Shar-Pei rub his ears. I'm happy, happy, happy, and so is she. I will not be required to return, but in this areas, I am grateful amazon.com offers. Thank you, thank you amazon.com.
